HHS Awards Grants to Expand Primary Workforce
In an effort to expand the number of primary care doctors in the U.S.,
the Department of Health and Human Services announces $253 million of grants that will be given to states to support strategies that will address shortages in the coming years. The HHS will also grant $67 million to assist "low-income individuals with education, training and supportive services that will help them prepare to enter and advance in careers in the healthcare sector."
