National Prevention Strategy

National Prevention Strategy from the National Prevention Council, which "comprises 17 heads of departments, agencies, and offices across the Federal government who are committed to promoting prevention and wellness." The Council was created by the Affordable Care Act, which also required the Council to create a National Prevention Strategy. According to the Council's report, "The Strategy prioritizes prevention by integrating recommendations and actions across multiple settings to improve health and save lives."
